Description O-acetylhomoserine (thiol)-lyase.
Alternative names O-acetylhomoserine aminocarboxypropyltransferase;
Methionine synthase;

Catalyzed reaction O-acetyl-L-homoserine + methanethiol = L-methionine + acetate.
