Comments	-!- The liver enzyme may be identical with EC 2.6.1.44. include 2.6.1.44
	The sequences included here are close homologs of the enzyme from rat liver organelles, which is identical to isoenzyme 1 of alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase (2.6.1.44) and also to asparagine-oxo-acid aminotransferase (2.6.1.14) [Noguchi & Fujiwara (1988) JBC 263, 182]. The enzymes from Drosophila and Aedes also show alanine-glyoxylate aminotransferase and 3-hydroxykynurenine aminotransferase activity.
