2.1.2.7 b
Activity 2.1.2.7
Description D-alanine hydroxymethyltransferase (family b)
Notes Proteins strictly related to serine hydroxymethyltransferase.

In the reference organism, Streptomyces sp. Sp080513GE-23, the gene encoding the enzyme is adjacent to a non-ribosomal peptide synthetase. The sequences from S. malaysiense and S. puniciscabiei have been extracted from a multidomain non-ribosomal peptide synthetase (sequences corresponding to the other domains have been removed).
