Description Threonine synthase
Notes Threonine synthase sequences can be grouped into two quite distinct subgroups, that however have not been classified as separate families.
A first subgroup comprises enzymes from higher plants (which are long and S-adenosylmethionine-sensitive) but also enzymes from cyanobacteria, archaebacteria, and several gram-positive species.
The second subgroup includes enzymes from fungi and from proteobacteria.
