4.4.1.28 d
Activity 4.4.1.28
Description L-cysteine desulfidase (family d)
Notes This subfamily encompasses fold-type II enzymes from enterobacteria.
They are only distantly related to the enzymes in subfamily 4.4.1.28_b (which also are cysteine desulfhydrases belonging to the fold-type II group) and seem to have emerged independently from cysteine synthases (2.1.5.47).
