4.4.1.35 b
Activity 4.4.1.35
Description L-cystine β-lyase (family b)
Notes A small family of enzymes from Brassicaceae. The sequences are surprisingly close to those of validated nicotianamine aminotransferases (2.6.1.80) and to those of other aminotransferases. The family is apparently unrelated to family a (cyanobacterial C-DES enzymes).
