Description Cystathionine beta-lyase (family b)
Notes A family built initially around the MalY protein of E. coli, which acts as a cystathionine beta-lyase but is also involved in the regulation of the maltose operon.
The enzyme from lactobacillus sakei also shows racemase activity towards a number of amino acids.
