Description D-serine ammonia-lyase (family a)
Notes A distinct family of fold-type II proteins, based on functionally validated sequences from from proteobacteria.
Sequences are only distantly related to those of other lyases such as (diaminopropionate ammonia-lyase) and (L-Thr ammonia-lyase).

D-serine ammonia lyase from E. coli is monomeric.
