B6db families: b
Description L-cystine β-lyase (family b)
Notes A small family of enzymes from Brassicaceae. The sequences are surprisingly close to those of validated nicotianamine aminotransferases ( and to those of other aminotransferases. The family is apparently unrelated to family a (cyanobacterial C-DES enzymes).
