dihydrorhizobitoxine synthase
Activity dihydrorhizobitoxine_synthase
Description Dihydrorhizobitoxine synthase (2.5.1.-)
Notes In Bradyrhizobium elkanii and in some other bacteria the protein corresponds to the C-terminal domain of a bifunctional polypeptide comprising dihydroxyacetone phosphate aminotransferase (also a PLP-dependent enzyme) which catalyzes the preceding step in dihydrorhizobitoxine biosynthesis.
Accordingly, the N-terminal domain from the B. elkanii sequence has been removed and included in the dhap_transaminase family.
