| Description |
Cysteine desulfhydrase (4.4.1.-). |
| Notes |
All the characterized enzymes in this family also show cystathionine beta-lyase activity (E.C. 4.4.1.8) and sometimes methionine gamma-lyase activity (4.4.1.11). Indeed, the family is tightly related to families 4.4.1.8 and 4.4.1.11, with which it forms a 'supercluster' of C-S lyase enzymes. |
