Notes Proteins very similar to those in family tuzn1299 (archaeal, low-specificity branched-chain amino acid transaminases).

In effect, some sequences such as WP_006137606 from Streptomyces griseoaurantiacus should belong to this family based on gene clustering, but sequence-wise show a slightly higher identity with validated enzymes in the tuzn1299 family.
