Notes A family of enzymes based on the validated sequence from Streptomyces sp. ID38640.
They are most closely related to family lipo (which catalyzes a very similar reaction) and to other families FTI omega-aminotransferases such as 2.6.1.18 (beta-alanine-pyruvate transaminase).
