Catalyzed reaction	O3-acetyl-L-serine + pyrazole = 3-(pyrazol-1-yl)-L-alanine + acetate.
Cofactor	Pyridoxal-phosphate.
Comments	-!- Highly specific for acetylserine and pyrazole. -!- Not identical with EC 2.5.1.52. -!- Formerly EC 4.2.99.14 (EC 4.2.99.17 incorporated 1992).
	In watermelon, this activity is carried out by a cysteine synthase enzyme (EC 2.5.1.47). It may also be identical with EC 4.2.1.50.
