In rat, there are evidences that that cytosolic cysteine aminotransferase is identical with cytosolic aspartate aminotransferase (EC 2.6.1.1).
In bacteria, different aspartate aminotransferases (2.6.1.1) and aromatic amino acid aminotransferase (2.6.1.57) can transaminate L-Cysteine. |
