| abstract |
Glycine production from glyoxylate, a key reaction
in the beta-hydroxyaspartate pathway of glyoxylate metabolism in Micrococcus denitrificans (Kornberg & Morris, 1965, Biochem. J. 95,577), has been found to be due to the action of an inducible, specific aminotransferase which utilizes L-aspartate or L-serine as amino donor. |
